Right outside the Montreal Neurological Institute (part of the McGill University Health Centre), there’s a stone plaque with Dr. Wilder Penfield’s line:

The problem of neurology is to understand man himself.

That spirit set the tone for our visit as DataJoint CEO Jim Olson stopped by McGill University—home to Canada’s largest neuroscience department and one of the biggest in North America.
